>> Have you been watching MasterChef (fyi, there’s sound when you click to this site)? The thought of Gordon Ramsay skewering home cooks during primetime had me a little uneasy but, for the most part, it’s actually a rather inspiring show. Kind of a similar feel as The Next Food Network Star, but with more contestants. Don’t worry if you’ve missed the first two episodes, they’ve just been narrowing down the finalists. Next week the real challenges start – Wednesday at 8 PM on FOX.
>> I’m not sure if this one necessarily made me go mmmmm but I have to admit I’m a little intrigued: the Pop-Tarts World retail store opened in Times Square this week! Shhh…I eat Pop-Tarts sometimes.
>> Erin from Erin Cooks and Yummery always finds the cutest food-related gifts. This week she shared the Chef’s Pencil Set from Etsy. Each pencil is imprinted with a cooking term and its definition. I’m thinking stocking stuffers!
